Culinary Students

Throughout the year, Table 4 Ten, Inc. partners with various culinary colleges in Orange County. Last year, over 40 culinary students from the Saddleback College Culinary Arts Program, and ten from the Culinary Lab partnered with participating chefs to learn valuable culinary skills.

Students worked with top OC Executive Chefs, lead by Executive Chef Pascal Olhats on:

  • Cooking Skills
  • Culinary Skills
  • Nutritional Science
  • Plate Design
  • Communication
  • Apprenticeship
  • Other: How to read a recipe, confidence in the kitchen, how to quarter and truss a chicken, paring knife skills, ingredients, test sauces, pots, pans, heat, creativity, how to make stock etc…

For many of these culinary students, this is an excellent opportunity to learn and partner with top chefs in the community. Many of the students are given job opportunities through this valuable experience.
